The Department offers graduate studies with two programs at the MS level:

• Advanced Systems and Methods in Biomedical Engineering

  The purpose of the program is to provide students at all career stages the tools necessary for the study, design, development, and application of novel and advanced systems and methods in the field of biomedical engineering. The program will cover the entire spectrum of biomedical engineering topics from basic science issues to technological state-of-the-art to economic and business aspects of the field.

• Information Technologies in Medicine and Biology

  The objective of the program, which takes place in cooperation with the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and in collaboration with the Foundation for Biomedical Research of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA) and the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National Centre for Scientific Research "Demokritos", is to strengthen the knowledge and skills of its postgraduate students in the application of informatics, applied mathematics, and statistical analysis methods in Life Sciences and Biotechnology.
