8th European Conference on Medical Physics (ECMP 2014) - Greece

• Along with the EFOMP Council, the Conference will be mainly organized by HAMP (Hellenic Association of Medical Physicists).


• The Conference organization will be supported by the five (5) Medical Schools in Greece as well as by our Department:
  - The Medical School, University of Thessaly
  - The Medical School, University of Crete
  - The Medical School, University of Athens
  - The Medical School, University of Ioannina
  - The Medical School, University of Thrace
  - Department of Biomedical Engineering, Technological Educational Institution of Athens


• The Department will be organize a workshop entitled "Advances in Medical Instrumentation and Computing". Specifically, the following satellite workshops are proposed:
  - Advanced Techniques and QA on MR Imaging
  - Advanced Techniques of Radiotherapy Physics
  - Novel Radiology Techniques and Dosimetry
  - Advances in Medical Instrumentation and Computing
  - The status of Education and Training on Medical Physics in Europe
